Early Career and Notable Contributions

Dr. Jaiswal’s journey began in the challenging terrain of Arunachal Pradesh. As the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Deputy Commissioner of various districts, she was exposed to the complexities of governance in a border state. This formative experience instilled in her a deep-rooted understanding of the unique challenges faced by remote and marginalized communities.

Her subsequent roles in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi further honed her administrative skills. As the Director of Primary Education and Director of Health, she played a pivotal role in improving public healthcare and education systems. Her tenure as Deputy Commissioner of various zones in Delhi allowed her to address urban challenges and enhance the quality of life for city residents.

Leadership Roles in Goa and Puducherry

From 2016 to 2020, Dr. Jaiswal served as the Secretary to the Government of Goa. She oversaw crucial departments such as Labor and Employment, Cooperation, Power, Rural Development, Panchayats, Urban Administration, and Veterinary Services. Her tenure was marked by significant contributions to these departments, driving development and social welfare initiatives in Goa.

In 2020, she assumed the role of Secretary to the Government of the Union Territory of Puducherry. Her responsibilities included Information Technology, Planning, Economics and Statistics, Stationery and Printing, and Ex-Servicemen Welfare. Her expertise in these areas enabled her to implement innovative policies and streamline administrative processes.

Dr. Jaiswal’s career has not been confined to domestic assignments. She has had the privilege of engaging with international organizations and participating in global forums. Her visits to South Korea and the United States exposed her to diverse governance models and best practices.
